Basic Information on How to Know your cars make and model details
This seems very obvious to the people who know abit about cars, but it is essential information and needs to be said (rather typed)
THE BEST WAY IS OBVIOUSLY YOUR CAR OWNERS MANUAL.
I know this sounds dumb to a few, but not everyone is aware of how much detail is actually in a vehicles owners manual. Not only does it state the make and model of your car, it has the specific details on specifications such as the amount of engine oil your engine holds, The recommended type etc. As well as a whole heap of other useful stuff like all the different features that particular model has and what it can do and so on. i recommend if you have brought a car second hand and it did not come with an owners manual, then apart from the trying to source one through either a local wreckers or spending hours on the internet, there are almost always a repuatiable publishing company such as haynes and gregorys that publish aftermarket versions that include a HUGE amount of invaluable information to do with your car. I personally know of many workshops that own a large collection of these comprehensive manuals mostly for specific specifications of the car, but either way it shows the importance of the vechicles user manual.
